CUSTOM TRAININGS
I AM ABLE offers custom trainings to organizations, schools, and groups. Previous topics have included self-care, trauma and grief, trauma-informed care, and the impact of trauma on the developing brain. If you or your organization would like a custom training, email your request to Katlynn Dallmann, Clinical Director at kdallman@iamablecenter.org.
I AM ABLE offers non-paid internships and field placements to undergraduate and graduate students in counseling, social work, criminal justice, psychology, and organizational development, just to name a few. University partners include Northeastern Illinois University, Dominican University, Aurora University, Adler University, Loyola University, Trinity International University, University of Illinois-Chicago, and more!
Learning opportunities include conducting intake, assessments, treatment planning, case management, counseling/therapy, anger management, legislation advocacy, community outreach, wellness coaching, grant writing, quality assurance, school-based counseling, blogging, and tasks based on individualized interests.

I AM ABLE offers continuing education units to Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists for license renewal. CEU events are offered on a quarterly basis and announced on the website.
